  • There's also plenty of obvious reasons to hate the X windowing system. Like that it's unmaintained and going the way of the dodo. Plus learning about a system that is old is less interesting than something that is new. I don't care about the ways a dead, unmaintained system sucks, so why would I ask?

  • I'm absolutely team sea-lion here, did you read that comic?

I mean, just imagine if the sea-lion was a black person...

  • I mean yeah, it's obvious why X/twitter is shit, everyone has the exact same opinion about this.

Why would I ask about that when the answer is obvious? And why would I not ask when the answer isn't obvious?

  • Arch has an awesome installer now so this is pretty dated.

  • I give kde to the elderly and have no such issues

  • I think the real problem is more simple, there is no trust in the media anymore, and for good reason, and as a result, peoples beliefs are guided less and less by facts and more by their own confirmation biases.

And this is a problem on both sides of every political issue these days, I don't trust any sources anymore, I live in the US and the only way I know china and NK are evil is because they are authoritarian, so they are bad by default, the history of the US is so bad that I obviously can't trust western media, some might not realize eastern media is just as bad after hearing european atrocities.

  • That relies on somebody elses prep time, so, I don't think that would count.

  • There was no time limit set, with an hour, yeah, no chance unless you do this regularly.

  • False gharials

    they are gharials

  • Yeah but if you have prep time, you can make a massive spear and thrower (I forget what those are called), an able bodied man could probably take a horse with one of those.

  • a note 9 with postmarketos/android dual-booting and a bigger fingerprint sensor.

They figured out the perfect phone with the note 9 and every samsung has been worse in some way since.

  • I specifically said "large context" how many tokens can you get through before it goes insanely slow?

  • For large context models the hardware is prohibitively expensive.

  • I would feel similarly if I not only did have updates break things, because of manjaros fuckups, but also because I have to jump through hoops to update the kernel.
