  • Like a minefield around the mouth that usually looks like almost everything just went off. The boils in-between could get pretty huge for the face, too. Like a quarter inch. I actually have a dormant variety because I once tried to hug mom and a few of them popped. She screamed and hit me and made me promise to never do it again...

  • Maybe take a sample in a clean glass bottle, maybe a mason jar? Test it later if you want to and can easily afford to. Might learn something useful about your body, idk.

I might be clueless tbh, might be completely pointless, but I tend to be curious and academic types always tend to have interesting information.

  • Yeah, doesn't Iran also directly fund some of the most irredeemable kinds of terrorists? They definitely kill their own protesting students without remorse. Like Trump intends to.

  • I'm gonna guess they know that what they have will be about as bad as Starfield, and they might be fighting internally to make it not be that. If that's the case, maybe they'll get through to the rest and fix it. But they probably won't.

Either way, nobody should pre-order it. Wait for reviews. If it even ends up shipping at all.

  • I'm about as worried about this as I am about galaxy eating monsters. Not at all, really.

I'm more bothered by our apparently non-existent ability to detect and divert asteroids. More than that, I'm terrified of our habit of using global cataclysm as a strategic threat. But at the same time I feel like a species that acts like this probably should end themselves like that. Russian civilians consent to nuclear apocalypse.

So yeah, not very bothered by idea of false vacuum.

  • Well, the ones making the cable still probably only make a small fraction of the value in labor. The majority of the inflated price goes to C suite paychecks.

I remember when I made 10s of thousands worth of cable every day from cheap materials and walked away with a couple thousand a month. I ended up quitting that job, but the slightly mentally challenged woman there who was the most efficient and accurate to spec probably still sits there making cables every day.
