RANT
So NIB update their stupid website and phone app. Now I can't log into the account because it says my email address is unrecognised, despite having sent the access code to my email address...WTF.
So, log in with wife's email and I get in after having her text me the code she received.
Ok, all good, let's update my details because they discarded my address and set it to hers.
Nope. It won't change.
So I set her address to mine, and it updates my email address with mine. Ok, we're getting there.
Log out, log in, it works.
Now it won't let me set my wife's email address, so now she can't log in.
For something fundamental as logging in, one would think they would have tested this.
I'm sure I'm not alone.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
I'm one of those unsociable cyclists that rides early in the day. Most people I know don't like waking up early. For me, it's the best time to ride. I don't like the heat of the day.
Long sleeve shirt, gloves, +50 sunscreen on the exposed parts of my legs,, proper UV polarised sunnies, helmet. I have long hair which protects the back of my neck.
It's just over 2 hours of riding for that trip (for me), so I'm not in the real heart of the day.
Wifey and I departed AKL 6:30 in the am.
Drove down to Karangahake Gorge. She went for a walk while I rode my MTB to Paeroa along the Hauraki rail trail. Turned around in the town then rode back along the trail to Waihi. Watched the little train leave from the station bound for Waikino. Then rode back to the gorge.
Packed the bike up into the car, drove to Waikino Station for an early lunch, then drove back home to arrive at 14h30.
Bike washed, me showered, now waiting for wifey to get back from the grocery shopping during which she will acquire for me me a box of beer.
Then I'm going to drink some of them while pretending to watch cycling videos on the YouTube thing.
I anticipate having to watch some of them more then once because I find I start watching one video then suddenly I realise I'm in the middle of another one. Youtube videos jump around when it's hot like this.
Depends what you consider over cooked.
I like the concept of eating duck, but I can't handle the fact the "fancy" people cook it so it's still a bit pink inside.
It puts me off, so I can't eat it. I worry about salmonella.
I wish I could get over it.
Smells delicious.
So maybe overcooked is the way to go if I get another opportunity.
Then, somebody gave us duck eggs.
Same thing. Cracked it open and it didn't look like a chicken egg. So it put me off those too and they went in the bin.
My brain seems to only allow chicken meat and chicken eggs.
Pick up your dogs shit when you're out walking!
Drives me insane when I ride through it on my bike. There's one part of my commute on a shared footpath, and I didn't see the turd and rode over it.
Sticks in the nobbies on my tyres and flicks shit everywhere.
I will kill you.
At least somebody cares. LOL
No lecture, just need to see an eye doc to get it sorted.
Gone are the days when the GP would just prick it with a pin himself.
What a palaver hey.
So annoyed with myself.
I took a ceiling tile down at work to fiddle with something in the void and got some dirt in my eye.
Now a few days later my one eyelid is all swollen.
How stupid can I get? (Don't answer).
Yup. Nib health.
