  • I think music production software uses some system APIs that might not even be possible to replicate with Wine or Proton.

  • I do not believe there is any way to change it without connecting directly to the device's circuitry, and in some widgets it may even be stored in the ROM, so a Flipper Zero would not be of much help (unless the board has some sort of programming interface you could connect to the Flipper Zero).

  • It would be nice to also have it on F-Droid.

  • I haven't used Stack Overflow in a while so I forgot about most of those features, and as long as it also uses ActivityPub it doesn't really matter that much if it is a different platform. I think some of those features could even be useful on Lemmy (tagging posts would be nice and maybe community-editable posts could be a thing that communities could choose to enable).

  • Lemmy could be that, just have programming (and other) Q&A communities here.

  • I tried all three and I am liking ThinkSocial (I usually read the whole contents of posts and some of the comments so it works pretty well for me). Perchance you know of any desktop (web) clients that have a paginated timeline?

  • I am also looking at either getting an FDM or SLA printer, but I am more wondering about the cost of materials than the print quality (most of my projects are small but do not require much detail - they are mechanisms that do not need to be super precise, just printed well enough that components fit) and I have heard that the resin used for SLA is much more expensive than FDM filament. I was wondering to what extent that price difference is.

  • I wanted to implement the pics into the post via ![alt text](image url) But it was not working for the upscayl version, sorry.

I just had to copy the link that the Download original image button pointed to and remove the ?dl=1 from the end, and that gave me this URL which points to the image and can be embedded in the post.

  • I have known about PWAs for a while, and it always has annoyed me just how many apps I have that could be PWAs instead. I think apps can be tracked to a greater degree than websites, so, at least for closed-source stuff made by companies, native apps give more data they can use and sell.
