There's a systemd OOM service that can be setup. I use CachyOS and they have it as a checkbox to turn it on or off.

My older Yamaha receiver has what they call Surround AI. It automatically boosts or lowers sounds proportionally to counter every movie having shit mixing. It's amazing, many times I'll see a movie in theater, and once it's done I realize I'll need to rewatch it at home to understand like half of what was said and I missed.

For me like 2+ years ago it already forced me to EA app. I installed Origin to reinstall Battlefield 2042, and it forced me to update to EA App, or the game wouldnt launch. This was when the app was BARELY functional, too.

Thank you! What I think fixed it for me was Proton-Experimental. Works like normal again with CachyOS Wine Staging.

Retail has become a very tiring roller coaster. Season by season things shift wildly from mega fun, to dog shit. And it makes no sense. The WoW team has to have all the metrics on what people like and don't like, yet they'll go double down and try something that was universally hated just 1-2 years ago. The biggest is when they cater to casual players, everyone loves it. So 1-2 seasons later they cater to the hardcore and everyone leaves and the game sucks.

If you queue competitve you're guaranteed human players. And no Crossplay. Not the best solution, but yea...

It's nice and works very well, but lacks a user base.

Compared to OW, its gameplay is designed to be more fun and casual, and less hardcore competitive. Its very fun and not at all something to take serious, including their ranked matchmaking.

I've run it on and off for about 6 months. Just switched to it as daily driver. Absolutely love it. Arch but with automatic x64v3/4, including Wine & Proton?! Sign me up. Which is installed with an fantastic gaming meta package, and I regularly get ~10% FPS boost. Excellent default kernel, too.

SteamVR really does all the heavy lifting for PCVR, even for Quest headsets since they relaunched Steam Link.
