People most certainly have a right to practice whatever religion they want. However, as a "liberal progressive" you might want to brush up on the establishment clause of the first amendment. Especially if this is a public school.

Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, a child's prefrontal cortex (the rational, decision-making center of the brain) isn't fully developed until around age 25. Therefore, they physically lack the ability to fully comprehend the consequences of their actions — hence labor laws. Again, I appreciate you sharing this information; however, it works counter to the science and may perpetuate a potentially dangerous culture of "why didn't they just call OSHA" instead of a "why are they hiring children."

I just read something that put it into a different perspective. Yes, they are racist, but what really chafes Republicans asses is being told what to do. Having empathy for people unlike them is so far down the rabbit hole, it's almost non-existent. Hope that makes sense.
