Children of time was amazing. What a unique, interesting concept. The following books were good too but for me didn't live up to the first one. Which is okay, i still liked all of them.

Even if you don't think you're into Warhammer 40k you should check out the books. There's 100's of them and are actually very good. I put them off for a long time because i thought they'd just be battle porn. They are well written with compelling narratives, great characters, a sprawling galaxy full of different aliens and factions, and of course the aforementioned war porn.

If you are hesitant like i was, i recommend starting with the first three books in the Horrus Heresy. There's like 40 something of them but the first three you could read and put down satisfied without continuing if you wanted.

I always list the three books out for people because there's so many it's easy to get lost looking for them.

As for a non-opera book, I highly recommend Seven Eves. I don't think i saw it in your post. But you had a long list so forgive me if i missed it. It's one book, pretty long though and one of my GOATS.

I'm not. Prince was awesome. He changed his name to a symbol because Warner Bros trademarked his name and wouldn't let him do what he wanted with his own music. People started calling him The Artist Formally Know as Prince. But the reason was ignored and everyone made fun of him.

Musk is an idiot and loser and shouldn't be even tangentially compared to Prince.

I also don't know what to make of this. I err on the side of, it's all bullshit. But i do find it all very interested. Extraterrestrial aliens is almost a thought terminating cliche because of how extraordinarily improbable it is. The thing that i find lights my imagination on fire. Is that Grusch has said the crafts are "terrestrial non-human". Which is just as unlikely but atleast its something kind of new.

I didn't read Animal Farm in school but i did really enjoy it as an adult. Social commentary aside, i love the way Orwell tells a story. Even though you know the characters are doomed you can't help but root for them and have hope they'll be okay or even win in the end. Which of course makes the revelations all the more heartbreaking.

It's like Christmas that appears randomly maybe once every other year when a new hbomberguy video shows up in my feed.

To add to that. A popular recess game among grade schoolers (like 10 year olds!) was Smear the Queer. I can't remember the rules exactly but i think it was essentially tag but rougher.

Disagree. I like having the screen for Android auto with music, podcasts, and especially gps. I do hate digital buttons when they aren't necessary but i like having the big main display.
