  • Imagine reversing every bathroom break you've had in your life. "Hang on I gotta run to the restroom and conjure up a poop from the sewer"

Imagine people casually walking into the restroom and then coming back out and running away in a sweaty panic with diarrhea

  • Same but the nihilist in me wants them to do it anyways. Better to rip the bandaid off in one go than to deal with jumping through hoops for several years until they ultimately remove it from Google search anyway. With a clean break, we can start rebuilding that trove of knowledge somewhere else and hopefully not all in one place again.

  • Another use for 'sort title' is for making collections for things like actors, directors, decades, genres, etc and then sticking them at the top of the library by appending special characters or numbers to the beginning of the sort title, like '#001 Steven Spielberg Collection's

Star Wars and Indiana Jones also have this issue with inconsistent titles, which make the default sorting annoying.

  • Keep in mind we didn't see articles like this coming out of California during all the flooding. I'd be willing to bet money this guy drove through a flooded street and killed the car. If this was a design flaw, we'd be hearing a lot more about it I'm sure. Tesla is like the #1 news topic.

  • By contrast they literally call their hydrogen car the future, so it's clear where their priorities lie.

I'm sure they're working on EVs behind the scenes for mainstream release once other companies iron out the quirks, while the Murai is a long-term development platform. Let's not forget Toyota dove headfirst into hybrids 23 years ago while other companies were developing shit like the Hummer H2 and the Excursion. People act like Toyota hates EVs but they're just very conservative in their designs because their brand has a reputation for being reliable and economical. Compare that with early Teslas costing $100k and having terrible QC issues. Nobody wants that from a Toyota.
