  • AFAIK Broadcom/Broadcom employees is/are who founded the RaspberryPi Foundation for educational purposes.

    Edit: after a bit of googling this isn't accurate but Broadcom does supply funding and has some employees on the board so it seems they play a big role in the organization.

  • In the bottom center of the Qbit app does the icon show as red, yellow, or green? This displays whether you are connectable or not. I'd bet it's a port issue. If Proton offers port forwarding, find the port they assigned you and input it into the "incoming connections" port in the Qbit settings.

  • Also recently bought a C3 and can't say enough good things about it. I connected mine to wifi so I could use/control it within HomeAssistant but you can always just not connect it like you said to have a TV without the smart features.

  • They can also alert law enforcement in the shipper/receivers area to bust you when sending or collecting the package. I recall a few years ago someone sent a weed shipment and used the address of the mayor of some city in Maryland as the recipient and the police raided his house and shot his dogs.
