Maybe 20+ years ago. I view current Applebee's as just plain shit and Olive Garden as a faux fancy restaurant that probably has a giant bank of microwaves in the kitchen to prepare your prepackaged frozen meals.

Correct but not like this. It's displaying this info in the libraries on each individual movie/show page as well as sending me a "week in review" email. I've already opted out so why am I still seeing this? Do 3rd parties need to opt out for me to stop receiving notifications about them on my account? That's absurd.

I chose to opt out and yet I'm still seeing "user activity" from my users on the watch page of each and every title in my library.

I've had a couple straight up tell me I had to use Edge/Chrome recently.

I've ran into a few in the last year or two. I also can't flash things like ESP32s (ESPHome) using Firefox for some security reasons, but this is fine as I'd rather be safe than sorry with my main browser.

It may be the instanced you signed up with. I think lemmy.world has defederated from a bunch of other instances plus has a lot of users and a lot of stability issues because of that.

It's not easier than configuring each one once and then letting them do all the work from there on out. Not trying to convince you to use them but they're pretty damn great especially when you're trying to watch multiple TV shows or see a movie that came out a lot sooner than you thought it would.

It also rusts the shit out of cars which is why 3 year old cars from the midwest resemble 30 year old cars from the west coast. I wonder if anyone has ever calculated all the lost capital caused by salting roads. I bet it's insanely high with the infrastructure and property damage alone.

To expand on this, also wait to do any big modifications to the printer until you familiarize yourself with it and again, are able to get decent prints. Nothing is worse than starting out with something new and not knowing whether your issues are caused by a lack of experience or something you changed yourself.

You don't have to get a cellular connected watch. My Samsung operates off wifi and Bluetooth only.

While I wouldn't say they'll revolutionize your life, they are useful for telling time, notifications, navigation, step tracking, exercise tracking, sleep tracking, controlling music, etc. If you find a good deal on one you might try it out. My battery lasted about 3 days new and is down to about 2 days now but I've already bought a replacement battery which looks easy enough to swap.
