  • Yeah another Lemmy problem is growing pains. If an instance does start to pick up traffic the hobbyists hosting the server will have to foot massive bills. That combined with the colossal learning curve make it an easy site to forget about.

    Also hosting any instance to me is insane. If someone posted illegal material and it’s being stored on your personal server in your home that sounds like a one way trip to jail.
