  • Holders of any elected office, from President to Senator to county dog catcher, should be completely banned from owning any sort of stock, investment, or businesses.

    You get to purchase US bonds. Thats it. In fact, you shouldn’t be allowed to own things once you’re done being in office either. If you’re ever found owning another kind of investment, 20 years in prison, no exceptions.

    An elected official owning stocks or even worse, their own business, is pure corruption. It’s inherently corrupt, even if they are super well behaved about it.

    Saying this, and like the article mentioned not mentioning flights to Jordan or Lebanon, to me is evidence of having a connection to Israel that as a lawmaker should be investigated.

    You clearly care more about Israel’s treats than you care about the lives of US airline staff. She is literally saying “Americans should be forced to risk their lives to make sure no Israeli ever feels mildly inconvenienced”

  • Incredibly cold take: Serving in another country’s military should disqualify you from any elected office.

    This has nothing to do with the United States or Israel. This feels like a basic “Being a functional state” thing. Cuba shouldn’t allow former Chinese soldiers to hold elected office either. Breaking news: Foreign country’s soldiers tend to have some allegiance to that country.

    Maybe you can add an exception for conscripts, but if you volunteered? Absolutely not.
