  • He said he was gonna cut the federal budget by ~30%, or roughly two trillion dollars. I saw an economist say that if you fired Every. Single. Govt. Employee it still wouldn't save two trillion dollars. It's just absolutely insane.

Sharpen up the 'tines, me hearties. The time is nigh.

  • I didn't "blame a victim." I pointed out it's pretty obvious what's happening, if you take a second and look.

I once had an argument with my sister about how "all men are rapists." I said I'm not. She said "not that you'd admit." Ok, that avenue is a dead end, so i pivoted to "what about your son? He's 8. Is he a rapist?" She looked me dead in the eye and said NOT YET.

This is the mentality that ALL men are forced to face nowadays, not just the rapists. How do you expect to gain any allies when you preemptively push people away? Those people you shun end up somewhere. Gee, i wonder why the Joe Rogans and Andrew Tates and Jordan Petersons are all so popular suddenly...

  • I dunno, maybe 18-21 years of being told everything wrong in the world is a guy's fault has something to do with it. Putting all the blame on people that had no hand in the state of things doesn't exactly enamour them to your cause...

Y'all choose the bear over random dudes this summer. These young guys saw all that happening, right in front of them in real time. Where were they supposed to turn? One side was offering them answers, even if falsely. The other side was blaming them for everything. The shift right wasn't all because of the Trump's and Bannon's of the world.

  • The fact that Kamala’s positions are so far to the right that known war hawk Dick Cheney threw his support behind her is a BAD thing for a lot of left wing voters.

Cheney didn't endorse Harris because of policy. It was more in line with orcs saying "even we can't get behind this Sauron guy." The fact you're regurgitating that propaganda says you've fallen for it, or were a vector to spread it.

  • Here’s a harsh reminder that Trump is farther ahead in the polls than he was with Hillary at this same point in the election.

    (X) Three things:

    1. don't fucking trust polls. They're beyond biased at this point.
    2. remember the daily death announcements during COVID? Remember how they got broken down demographically? Because the reds didn't trust the vaccine, by the 3rd wave, R's were losing voters at almost a rate of 3:1. And during that same time people were coming of age. Younger people tend to lean left. I can't find the figures, so, grain of salt, but i recall it being at around 8000 or so a day. So, Maga is losing voters while Dems are gaining voters. Daily. Over an extended period of time...
    3. just look at the rallies. If the race was as close as the polls claim, you'd have similar numbers of attendees for either candidate. But, we're not seeing that, are we? Kamala is bringing in 75000. I heard the ellipses rally had 100k. What's Trump getting? 7000? 9000? These numbers just don't gel.

Now, I'm not saying this is locked down. Far from it. Go and fucking vote. It needs to be an absolute landslide, and we know maga will still bitch. But don't trust the billionaire-owned corporate media, which has shown, time and time again, who their favorite is.
