  • Honestly, picking Trump again is a good thing for the rest of us. We know he can lose and because of the last presidential election and his base is just getting smaller.

It's not like any Republican is a good candidate. All of them think abortion is a crime and will appoint shit supreme court justices. So give me the one I know loses because they lost before.

  • As an American I'd prefer they not be American. I fucking loathe the people who let American conservatives spit in their mouth and ask for more.

I don't know what dumb fucker looks at Mississippi or West Virginia and aspires to be like that.

  • I'm pretty sure you can manage a search about why streaming platforms remove shows. Disney did it with Willow and HBO did it with loads of shows after the merger.

It's not like you have cited shit and you're the one making claims about taxes from the start.

  • I'm pretty sure that's not the case and that they can't write it off as a loss unless they cancel it. I've specifically read about that happening with HBO, Disney and Netflix.

To chalk it up to stupidity when it's a reoccurring thing among big businesses is stupidity; they're doing it for a reason and typically that reason is money.

  • At risk of sounding like a zoomer, I'd rather have my expensive appliances interface with tech instead of incorporate it.

A device that monitors the washer's power draw and makes an led green in another room for 30 minutes after the power draw falls is fine. Plus I could use it for way more than a washer.

  • But it can't afford to run less efficient tires because it has too much air resistance and the range would suffer. There's a reason why other Teslas have no flat panels or straight lines.

    It's a 100,000 vehicle with plastic hubcaps.

  • Not really? Like there are moments but I'm talking about if or when things fall apart I don't care to keep trying. It's not because of depression that I'd be ok with death but because I'm not scared to die but I am scared to suffer every day.

I don't think depression has the monopoly on desiring death over suffering.

  • That's a mountain of assumptions and frankly insufficient attempts to feel like you can make an impact. The literal best way for a person to reduce ecological impact is to not exist.

Secondly, having someone exist for you even if their existence is pure misery is the most selfish thing. It's my body and it's my choice. Anyone who says different is someone who feels entitled to keeping me around regardless of what I want.
