Maybe this is just me but I think AI when used by an indy dev is fine but when a massive company uses it, it's typically to lay off staff or something shitty.
People believe there is a magic sky dad who loves you so much they send you to suffer for eternity with the original naughty child who apparently wants to punish you for doing what they want.
Religions generally make conspiracy theories seem rational.
I'd still consider it an exploitation or mental illnesses. Some people are just predisposed to getting addicted and struggle way harder. Just like some people can't help themselves and gamble their lives away.
I agree that they clearly design games to be as addictive and consuming as possible but it's still an exploitation of mental illnesses. I have never had to struggle with addiction so I feel a bit judgemental if I assume others are just ruining their life by choice.
While I wish that were true it's just not that simple. People are creatures of habit and the experience has to be absolutely awful to get people to break habits, especially social habits. We're talking people will stay in abusive relationships where they get physically beat regularly because they are scared to change.
I don't think everyone who listens to music is engaging with the music. People will be shocked that Rage Against the Machine is political despite listening to them for years.
My issue with SFV is entirely with the content that is more popular in the medium. I've seen SFV that promotes learning in bite-sized chunks and I've seen some that are entirely wholesome and uplifting. Just like some people can watch Jersey Shore, read Atlas Shrugged, or listen to mumble rap and I will consider that a waste.
I don't think I have the right to tell everyone what they can do with their time. So I don't support the condemnation of something just because I don't approve of it.
Tbf all of those are holdouts from old video game licenses. (That I also don't agree with)
Apple set the standard for the app store cut and gets that cut on a lot more than video games as well as having a much more needed use case (phones are closer to a need than a console) that you can't get around.
I consider iPhones and iPads to be personal computers and of all personal computers they are the only ones that don't allow you to get applications from 3rd parties.
I was talking about this earlier but they could use lithium iron phosphate batteries where normally you need the battery life it would now let the battery go nearly 10 years before losing more than 85% of the chance capacity
Biden won by nearly 7 million votes with a 62% of votes under 30 years old and 52% under 45 years old.
Actually the only age group he didn't win with was 65+ and they're the ones dropping faster and faster each month.
So you're assuming people will take Trump over Biden because he was involved in genocide when he was involved in 8 years of drone strike champion before he ran in 2020.
