Incorrect. By law that money is owed to the government as taxes. Doge hasn't changed that. They have only ensured they don't have the staff to collect.

I think that the thing that made the protests for George Floyd and Covid policies so widespread was people were out of work. The capitalist system has done a very good job of binding us to our jobs. we need a change that will put large amounts of people on the streets with little to lose. An economic collapse might do it.

I would argue that immigration is a right, not just a privilege. If people want to be Americans, the government should not be able to stop them.

A coworker of mine started falling down the YouTube conspiracy rabbit hole. He said something about the moon landing maybe being a hoax. I told him that when I was in college I used the big telescope to look at the moon landing site, so I knew for sure it was real. After that, he believed in the moon landing.

Now of course I was lying about seeing the moon landing site. Terrestrial telescopes can't see the landing site. I convinced my friend to believe the truth by countering a lie from a stranger with a lie from someone he trusts.

Go over to the conservative sub and try and talk people over to your side. See how that goes for you.

MAGA is a religion for these people. No amount of protests or good arguments are going to change their minds. They only understand fear and force. They will happily shove every protestor in the country into concentration camps or deport them regardless of citizenship. I wish you were right, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Look at North Korea. People get killed for smuggling in flash drives with western media into the country. We could be streaming it from uninterruptible satellites. We could be fighting the global information war on a level most other countries could only dream of.

On the domestic end, if we get Internet access to every corner of the country, it opens up remote work to every American. That could bring an incredible economic boost to impoverished rural areas.

You need to look up the definition of fascism if you think both parties are fascist.
