Man, I'm used to not believing his quotes are real, but I wasn't expecting to not believe a pic of him was real. That's really him! Guy probably hasn't seen his own penis in years.

I briefly had a Windows Phone circa 2010 and it had fantastic sound. It even had a little folding stand so the speakers could be uncovered.

I'm from the boombox era. They fucking sucked way harder than people playing music on their phones, because they were way louder. The music was better at least, although I didn't appreciate that at the time. Nowadays I love hearing old-school hip-hop out in the wild.

I just did one of my 50 mile rides this morning on a bike trail, and I passed a bunch of people with their phones mounted on the handlebars, watching videos of some sort. Like, I guess I could see having a GPS app open, but watching videos? Why the fuck are you even out here? Get a stationary bike and be safe at home at least.

Many people riding and walking on the trail are playing music through their phone speakers instead of using earbuds. It's somewhat less annoying since you don't have to be around them for long, but it's still annoying.

I did BASIC on the Apple IIe, then TurboBasic, Visual Basic (3, 4, 5 and 6 with some C in there somewhere), VB.Net, C#, Java, Objective-C and finally QT. Now I drive a school bus.

I started with VB3, which didn't have custom classes. I have no idea how I did anything back then, but at least it was better than TurboBasic.

More like all the On Error Resume Next statements. Which wasn't even the worst thing about Visual Basic! VB also had the On Error Resume statement. On Error Resume Next at least moved on to the next line after an error occurred; On Error Resume just re-executed the error-generating line, I guess on the assumption that something would eventually change there.

Nah, they all just moved somewhere else. Easy portability is the one upside to homelessness.

There's a new-ish genre of Youtubers these days, Arizona home inspectors showing what a gigantic clusterfuck new house construction is there. I can't decide which is my favorite disaster: exterior walls that are just paper and stucco, or the gas leaks at literally every house. In AZ, the HOAs are the least of people's problems.

It's funny, one of the modern UI glitches that I hate the most is when a long bit of text is just truncated with ellipses instead of the whole thing being shown and you have to hold the mouse over to get it in a tooltip, or shudder actually click on the thing. HTML is great at word-wrapping and allowing the whole UI to "flow" with variable heights and widths as necessary - and yet that is never allowed to happen in apps.
