Yeh my family treat me like I am a nut job. I only swapped away from google and ask them to think about the orgs they spend their money on for example Amazon.

It’s amazing how many people got on board with Covid conspiracies but questioning where you data goes, who’s using it, what for, no that’s a bit far lol.

Cleaning needs adding to this list. Not just wash dishes The ability so see dirt, make a schedule, etc.

A lot of people saying how does this happen, it happens over time with small shifts. It happens because our stability as communities and nations is changing faster and more frequently.

Question is when do you take off the wedding ring? (or mental equivalent) because your promise to this person is most likely the strongest conviction most people hold. For better or for worse, implies we understand a partnership has ups and downs that we ride through. A fundamental change is attitude could be seen as an up or a down.

All my life I have watched movies where the all American hero stands up to the baddie, the facist, the bully, the greedy. I seen so many celebs virtue signal to their political values and causes that help others. The whole gun thing, we keep them to protect our rights.

But when there is an actual threat the passive acceptance is astounding. It’s quite bizarre to see. My brain can’t reconcile the USA I have watched vrs the USA I am seeing.

Will it be civil war, the old logic says yes. What I am seeing tells me no.

Last weekend I pretty much had to go hunting for news on the protests. Since when. The hiding it, the burying It, it shows they are afraid!

I was just using Safari on my phone and to view it I have to accept all marketing and tracking cookies.

Milano mepphis was one of the last hurrah of post modern. A decent trend at least. Corporate Memphis is an abomination. Terms of design I feel like since postmodern we have had a bastardisation of flat design which was really mostly suited to information design but it got shoved on everything hence the monochrome blandness. On the other side we got a bastardisation of arts and crafts maybe where people tried to digitally replicate traditional methods, we got hand lettering stamping etc. then they swished them together and true design got shoved out the window in favour of , how can we grab the users attention, to
how can we hold the viewer captive, to
How can we force the viewer to absorb, to The how can we annoy the viewer so much they will pay to just read/view in peace.

I am not sure what this design movement will be called
