I don't drink but if I did I'd never drink at a work social. I leave work socials early to avoid any drunkenness because there are 535356 ways it can go wrong.

I agree with a lot of what you say. Just bear in mind if they kill/harm someone to prevent themselves being raped, they have to explain this to various authorities. And may feel they won't be believed

Fair. They're volunteers, and they've given a lot to their sub so may want to keep it going in the chaos. They could be at work and just not have time to manage comments breaking the new stupid rules

People with poor verbal skills are perfect for abusers. Centres with very young kids, non verbal autistic people etc are often targeted. However particularly young children are difficult to have sex with because of the size of their genitals and anus.

There's also the elderly. An elderly person with dementia may not be able to give an account of what happened. They also may not be believed, you don't need to worry about them getting pregnant and they could die at any point. Elderly care is really badly managed.

Plus fear of being believed, self blame and feeling of needing to be polite.
