Alas its not quite there yet >< I have mint on my laptop but I spent a good 3 days trying to get Ubuntu running on my new desktop build and Linux just does not like new hardware. Ended up with Ghost Spectre instead.

Weirdly its plugged directly into the GPU in both cases but neither system info, nor blender can actually detect it. (despite the PC clearly posting) and the Terminal detects a power colour GPU but can't connect to it.

Ahhh so Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS might be a bit behind?

Direct GPU connection, which makes the fact that it even posts weird now tha you mention it.

I'd say a good loose definition is just 'people pooling resources for the common good' so basically all taxes and things paid for by taxes including the military.

It doesn't even sound like a reasonable study to undertake honestly, how many times do you comment on something just to say you agree? Mostly people just read it and move on, maybe upvote.

Yes but bait and switch has less negative connotations and implies some cleverness on the part of the fraduster. Nothing even remotely clever was done here, Tesla made a deal and then flat out broke it Trump Style.
