  • There's a burger bar chain around Montreal (la belle et la boeuf) that have this, purple Kool aid pickles. I'm personally not a fan but other people I know love them. Not uncommon.

  • Yeah I agree. Pete has a brother who has a small place in Pointe-Claire area, Deli-Bee. Literally the same, it's their dad's recipe, and bro plays bass guitar blues there when it's quiet. Oh man I love smoked meat!!!! He doesn't make his potato salad since covid started anymore but I used to go just for that. And his spicy pickles (...Homer Simpson gargle sounds...)
