It feels like watching Trump burn the middle east to the ground instead of Harris would be cold comfort for anyone proud of not actively voting for a different genocide abetting candidate. There is no anti-genocide candidate, sadly, but one party has at least the shadow of a conscience that can be pressured later.

I'm a millennial and I've always referred to my partner as such. Boyfriend and girlfriend always seemed so weirdly juvenile, and it's interesting to leave things ambiguous for people who are immediately expecting to categorise you.

Infinitely worse. I barely use search engines for issues these days and no longer recommend that people "Google" things.

Famously so in Flint, Michigan. Lead poisoning in water and air is no joke and does serious damage to cognitive ability. Average lead levels in air are still painfully high and it does not go away.

I mean... I can think of at least two groups of people who care, obviously. They just aren't you.

To be clear though, that's largely because it is just repeating the same request over and over as it times out and retries. They're a lot less noisy when they actually connect successfully, though it is still undesirable for them to do so.
