  • The crown is a replica of the crowns from the movie The Green Knight, the overall character design is mine.

  • Thank you! The crown is actually a 3d print i comissioned of that crown! Absolutely loved the costume design in that movie. The paint will be similar to Gawains crown, faded and tarnished.

Loved the direct reference to royalty being portrayed in medieval paintings with halos to illustrate divinity, and the costume designer putting the halo directly into the crown is just incredible.

So I liked the idea of an undead king with a crown and halo. I have a back story kinda started up for the character. It's fun!

  • Thank you! Sanding the halo is a huge pain in the ass lol, but it's going to look so good when it is done.

  • I don't feel like Hot Fuzz is uncommon.

  • Just Visiting. (US version) honestly love that movie, of course it's gonna be cheesy, but it's a fun, funny movie that has heart.

It's about a 12th century knight and his peasant servant that gets sent to the 21st century, and it's so good.

  • The renfaire community. Also disneyvacation/notdisneyvacation.

  • Cosplay. But I like me some history, so I'm trying to make it wearable and a bit more historically accurate.

  • I've been buy pieces here and there for about 2 years now. Probably well over $1500 everything I've put into it. That's over 2 years, buy a piece here and there each paycheck. If you are looking to put something together like this. Just take your time, research exactly what you are looking for, and just get pieces here and there.

  • I'm sorry I don't get it. Is it a reference?

  • Yup! If I had any other choice or could afford a newer camera I would do so! But considering my friend just gave me this incredibly nice DSLR because he got a better one, I will do everything in my power to use it. Even if I have to mangle the little mini hdmi cable lmao

  • I plugged it up to my smart TV. Is it supposed to just automatically display to the TV? Or is there a setting I am supposed to se to make it display through the HDMI?

  • The camera itsself works fine. No issues with the camera proper that I know of, unless it is the mini hdmi port on the camera. I'll definitely be taking it to my TV and plugging it up to see if it works when I get home from work.

  • I'll give the tv connection a try. And that's what I have. Mini HDMI-HDMI - capture card - Usb 3.0 - powered USB hub - PC it worked great for a while, and now it's giving me the business.
