I was raised in a Baptist Church and my pastor used to spend a significant amount of time shit talking Catholics.

They're all about to "accidently" get swept up in an ICE raid and end up on a plane to El Salvador in the middle of the night.

New York State doesn't have the death penalty, they moved his case to Federal Court specifically so they could pursue the death penalty.

I wonder when people are going to wake the fuck up and realize he's literally put us in a position where it's us or him.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Musk already thinks he's the real president, giving him the ability to make missiles and putting him in change of their deployment and operation is a great way to ensure musk actually gets total control of the US government.

Probably a few weeks from now, maybe 2-3 months if we're lucky.
Electronics will dry up first, and quickly when it happens.
That'll drive people to panic buy everything else like housewares and groceries draining those too.
Toilet paper will be hard to find again, it'll be like Covid but worse this time.

Antarctica is even more uninhabited and he could build 10 cities there for the same price as one small Mars colony.
And it's warmer, the air is breathable, and only takes a few hours to get to on a plane instead of months in space.
Anything built to survive the surface of Mars would work on Antarctica for a fraction of the cost.

Honestly I prefer it to Reddit because it's smaller and more civil.
But I won't lie, I've quit Lemmy for a few days when there's a huge news story.
I'll go over there because there's more engagement and updates seem to happen more frequently.
But in general I prefer it here, and I'm happy most of the people stay over there, I don't want most of them here anyway.
