  • It's really cool and I love the concept but doing basic things like chamfers are super slow and clunky so I just use freecad, which has support for openscad but also has conventional CAD paradigms.

  • Looking at the design of those wheels I feel like there was thought and probably iteration there. Those long thick hubs to provide durability and stability using a material not really suited to the use case. The whole thing was probably able to be made fairly quickly. Quite impressive really.

  • In Australia your son would be eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme which would supply government funding for all the services he requires. You would possibly also be eligible for your own disability support funding as his primary carer but I'm not sure on the criteria for that.

  • I'm not sure you could exactly call it brainwashing but Josefina Rivera was able to gain the trust of her abductor enough that he let her visit her family. As soon as she was free she called the police which led to his arrest and the freeing of the other abductees.
