Not all humans are bad and destructive, nor is the collective human race universally destructive. We have saved species from extinction and made great strides to protect ecosystems. Don't damn the lot of us for the crimes of the worst of us.
Sure, but there's a reason that scabs used to be beaten and shunned. Solidarity means everyone, and the consequences for breaking it need to be high or it's too easy for the bosses to pick people off one by one by offering them bonuses for ratfucking their peers.
Armed rebellions rarely result in a stable regime that's less bad than what they replaced. It's just an unfortunate fact of history. What they create is an instability which often takes a generation to shake off.
If he really wants to standardize voting at the national level, I think this might actually backfire on the GOP in the long run. Mail-in voting and early voting is extremely popular across the political spectrum, while lazy ignorant old people, the life blood of the GOP for over fifty years, often don't carry ID or even know where theirs is.
Not to mention that the odds of harmful mutation increase dramatically with a larger population to circulate in. These people are playing with fire, and they're going to blow us all the fuck up.
Perhaps they meant that these organisms are themselves ancient?
