  • If you're in Ontario, find the closest Ontario Works office near you and set up an appointment or just go in when they open.

Someone there should be able to meet with you. Explain you just got kicked out, have no where to stay and need a job. They should be able to offer you help and resources.

  • This person texts admitting to stalking you, thensends texts admitting to bribing the police? Did you call the station with your tracking number to confirm this? Or take your copy of the report to another station if you did confirm it was buried? Those details will help round out your creative writing exercise here.

  • I used to think this, still kinda do. I get nothing out of watching sports. But just the other day I was talking to a friend who coaches football, she said she likes it because it's similar to chess. There are near limitless combinations of plays and each...segment, down, ball thing, I don't fucking know football, is another move. I'm not going to watch football but I appreciate her perspective

  • Adding to this: Women are culturally encouraged to feel and express specific emotions while Men are culturally encouraged to feel and express different, specific emotions. How one ought to behave is dependent on the culture on a grand scale, and those expectations skew how people observe gendered behavior.

For example, women who speak candidly are more likely to be considered flawed and viewed negatively. Or a woman who screams is acting normally while a man who screams is an outlier, no matter how many times men are observed screaming.

  • When trying to get the public to vote against their own interests, like in the case of free and fair news media, first sabotage the media, then claim they're not doing their jobs. Cripple a horse so we think we have to shoot it.

People should ask themselves when they started hating the CBC and look into who owned it and what policies and interests were guiding their coverage.

Like honestly, it's such an obvious play but it keeps fucking working.

  • I don't know enough to know if it's easier to cover up months of subtle and forceful coercion, or a billionaire's murder. I think that would count as 'duress' for the nepo chilluns. This is hard, I can understand why everyone's not doing it.

  • We'd have have to use drugs or something first to get them to sign over their wealth. Probably film it, make sure no one thinks it was under duress. The whole process could take months to make sure it looks legit. CIA level brainwashing maybe? I donno, just spitballing. Then just make sure they can't backtrack on everything by finishing the job.

  • Clear-cut facts are dry as hell, too. No emotion, no worldbuilding. Saying "I went to the baseball game this afternoon" is not as engaging as "Scott's kid hit his first home run today, you should have seen his dad cheer!"
