You don't need it until you do. Then it is a big todo to find one.
I recommend to everyone to just spend the extra $50 and by the BW Laser brother printer instead of the crap ink jet printer. I think they are around $100-150.
It will basically last you forever on the 10 pages you print a year.
I think that is up for interpretation a little bit. "The last decade" I think grammatically it means the last 10 years. In this case 2014-2024. But I am so used to it referring to the years ending in zero that my head immediately goes to 2010-2020 not 2014-2024. Especially in the context of music. Music is historically is reference as the years ending in zero 60s, the 70s the 2000s 2010s etc..
Exactly, This is just how our brains work. It is surprisingly how much stuff we miss because it isn't relivent to our lives. It is like those videos of the man in the gorilla suit in the background. You're so focused on the subject of the video your missing a gorilla walking past in the background.
I notice this about words or phrases as well. If I pay attention to what I think is an uncommon word or phrase. Suddenly everyone I know friends, family and coworkers all "start" using that word or phrase. Now maybe they have started using it but I think it is more likely they have always been using that word/phrase but I have just not given it much thought.
My guess is it has something to do with DRM protection in the HDMI spec.
I have no proof but it seems like it is always DRM that screws over open source.
I know technically ChromeOS is running Linux under the hood but it has been so bastardized by Google that it looses the spirit of Linux that it shouldn't be consider the same thing. At least in my opinion.
