Not surprising at all, there's been so many cop brutality incidents over the years. Off the top of my head, a cop broke the arm of an elderly woman with dementia and the cops laughed and joked about it. There was another case where the cops make a man crawl on floor before executing him. People don't just become monsters overnight. They've been trained over the years to behave this way.

I'm finding it difficult to sympathize with them. They dug their own grave and must now lie in it.

Not really comparable though, drinking water from the Ganges is really dangerous. It's filled with untreated sewage and industrial waste.

Meh, corporations have gotten away with committing crimes for a long time. DuPont knowingly used harmful chemicals in their products for half a century and got a slap on the wrist for their actions.

Wouldn't other search engines be happy to make the same deal? Maybe they wouldn't pay as much as google but it wouldn't be as catastrophic as implied.

The anti-American sentiment is true but that's not the reason why sales are declining for them. It's the rising price.
