I thought the burden of proof is on the person making the claim of existence.

It is. Religious people don’t like this for some reason, though.

People constantly asking the same questions, resulting in the same answers.

Picard Season 3 got rapped for having the Titans bridge be really dark all the time.

Have these people not seen The Motion Picture? The bridge was so dark in that movie, it doesn’t even seem like they’re on the Enterprise. At least the Titan is a different ship, AND you still get to see the Enterprise with its bright lighting in the same show.

Well I do, so that’s why I don’t use that phrase and don’t like it when people use that phrase with me.

My thoughts when I see this are “well I don’t so you’re wasting my time”

Even worse when they admit they were wrong and still say “I stand by what I said”

I just don’t like the phrasing because “agreeing to disagree” makes it seem like you are accepting that it’s good that they don’t agree with you. Saying literally anything else to convey what just said would make more sense.

You can walk away from an argument without agreeing to disagree.

This scene is exactly what popped into my head as soon as I first heard of the SNW musical episode
