  • Yup, there are a few exceptions with games that just don’t run well on Yuzu regardless of specs, but in general it runs Switch great!

You should look into EmuDeck. I’ve been emulating for years and never experienced anything make it all so easy like EmuDeck does, it’s wild. Especially all the hotkeys it sets up for you, for stuff like save states.

I mostly play GBA, DS, 3DS, and PSP, but I also emulate GameCube, PS2, WiiU, and Switch too and without issue.

Check out RetroGameCorps’ video if you’re curious. It goes over everything and is literally the video that the EmuDeck website itself links to.

  • Apparently they’re limiting sales to one per account per week, so hopefully that stops bots. It did with the original at least.

  • I have a 6600xt and a Steam Deck. I don’t really prefer either, and end up playing both.

Indie titles I’ll play on the Deck, and AAA titles I’ll play mostly on my pc but occasionally swap to the Deck if I’m in bed or something. I also now pretty much exclusively emulate on the Deck instead of my pc.

Spider-man, for example, I played through on both. I did main story missions on my pc for the graphical fidelity during cutscenes or more cinematic sequences, while all the side quests, collectibles, and challenges I did on the Steam Deck.

  • Pretty much everything but some online multiplayer games. Destiny, COD, and a few others use this anticheat that's not compatible.

    But virtually everything else, yes.

  • True, but it also has a better battery, it weighs less, performs slightly better, and the storage options are better by default than the original.

  • Yup, and it even has better battery life and is a bit lighter!

  • Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve found the opposite. Maybe it’s the ergonomics, but despite the weight I’ve found myself playing the Steam Deck for far longer than I ever could play my Switch before it gets uncomfortable.

  • When people stay mad at you after you apologize, your takeaway shouldn’t be to never apologize again.

  • Damn that’d be nice. I’ve only had one lucid dream but every time I’ve tried to get one again I’ve landed myself in sleep paralysis.

  • I totally understand that, Fallout 4 was actually my last time trusting Bethesda on release.

  • She jerked him off so he’d study harder? Damn, so it really does happen

  • I think the Fallout games doing it still makes it “one of the only games”.

Damn I wish modern Fallout took more inspiration from the originals.

  • I’ve always loved this game and been surprised by the negativity most users have towards it. The writing is excellent, the world is well realized, and it’s the only game I’ve played in a long time that actually lets me kill whoever I want, and continues the story around those decisions. New Vegas did it, and Baldurs Gate 3 recently, but it’s sadly an exceedingly rare thing.

I also loved how all skills could impact dialogue, again similarly to New Vegas. It made every skill worthwhile, and made exchanges with npc’s feel more unique to your character. It’s once again one of the only games where skills like speech or barter actually feel worth it, and is the only game I’ve ever played, outside of New Vegas, where you can simply talk your way through the final boss fight.

I get that it’s not for everyone, especially not if you’re looking for a Bethesda open world game, but it’s a great linear RPG that imo is very underrated.

  • I would crash immediately

  • Dude where’d you find that picture of me??

  • Damn that looks awesome! Love seeing all the different ones in the comments
