Obviously it’s different for everybody, but it worked for me. I lost over a hundred pounds after watching a comedy special where the comic ripped into fat people. It made me feel gross, and gave me the motivation/willpower to start losing the weight.

That won’t work for everyone so obviously we shouldn’t go harassing all fat people, but clearly “fat shaming” isn’t entirely worthless.

Actually I agree, it’s far easier to simply let things continue the way they are than to take a leap of faith.

My dad had been talking about leaving the country since we were kids, he just said he wanted to wait for us to go off to college first. But nobody really believed him - he was an underpaid college professor with little to no life savings.

But when Covid hit he sold his house, sold his car, and grabbed a one way ticket to Ecuador. He went down without ever having been, not knowing where he’d end up living, and is now 2 years later living his best life. I visited him and it’s heaven, I’m honestly jealous.

Edit: For those of you downvoting, his “house” was a shitty condo in Jersey and his car was an old nearly broken Honda Fit. He didn’t get much from either.

No, the endings diverge pretty drastically. Some even have entirely different end missions.

If you have a quote with them saying that about the backgrounds I’d be interested tho - the backgrounds are pretty much solely for some additional flavor dialogue, nothing more.

That was a functioning feature in the game when they were working on it, that they removed because it caused issues. That was an active choice on their part - not something they lied about.

This is literally why it’s illegal though. Because children are abused, permanently traumatized, or even killed in its making. Not because it disgusts us.

There are loads of things that make me want to be sick, but unless they actively hurt someone they shouldn’t be illegal.

It’s as much of an rpg as Fallout 3 and 4. As in, it’s an fps with some very light rpg mechanics.
