Not a single Ace Combat mention, how disappointing. AC 5 and Zero awe absolute musts. I also recommend Mercury Meltdown Remix, and Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix. Honorable mentions include Burnout Revenge, Lego Star Wars, Treasure Planet (I might be biased shut up), and Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm.

*edit: Dang, in retrospect I see how this comment came out wrong. I absolutely love the music from Doom, even though I've never played. So hearing that the music is lacking on this franchise specifically is a real shame, and I do mean that. What I meant, however, is that this little snippet of gameplay literally looks like an elaborate Beastsaber mod rather than actual Doom. With the movement, the wave shield with the color you're supposed to hit vs dodge, the carefully timed attacks, it all looks like a rhythm game.

Borderlands 2, obviously. Yeah, it's old, but it holds up great. I'm currently playing through it with my gf, and she's enjoying it.

Deep Rock Galactic. It's great fun, ranging from totally chill but squishing game to adrenaline pumping anxiety inducing horde survival. No real "story," but a solid piece of worldbuilding with a great universe.

Payday 2 was so good it killed Payday 3. Surprisingly enough, there is a story here, and it's weird. Lmao

Roboquest, if you only have one friend. An absolute banger of a rougelite shooter. Tons of depth, charming art style, great gunplay.
