I got in trouble at work because I sent an email to my manager about some new servers that were being installed, but didn't appear we had access to the management console. I let her know the entire team will need access so we could properly support the machines. I was pulled into a conversation... How dare I presume my direct manager who only managed my team, have any idea what we do!
There's been a few studios from former Blizzard employees. Just yesterday I got an update about Stormgate which is being made by Frost Giant Games. There's also Dreamhaven, Gas Giant Games, and notorious studios.
They ain't getting a dollar or of me. Didn't buy D4, what a toxic, problematic company. I miss the classic Blizzard I grew up with, but that comany, it's talent and passion died in '08.
Maybe it's more about the legal requirement for infinite profit due to being publicly traded. This has led to such fun things like, rising costs, planned obsolescence, the general enshitification of everything.
It's way over hyped. Especially the fries. Because people think they're getting a crapload and not the amount they payed for in a tiny container.
I walked into a five guys once cuz I was out of town and ask for a California burger, figuring someone who worked at a burger place would probably know what toppings I wanted. The cashier looked at me like I was stupid. So after explaining what toppings to put on, I got the most disappointing $20ish meal. Dry, flavorless, and way to much salt. I honestly would have been happier if I had just gone to a Burger King or McDonald's or Arby's.
I presume at one point it was actually a really good place to go but like any restaurant that lives long enough the quality tanked will the price is went up.
Place I work explicitly told me they don't drug test. They understood what you do on your time is your business. So long as you don't come to work under the influence of anything.
Guessing a named unit that you must interact with is stuck in a particular room. Sorry trying to be very discreet.
Summon up a cat and use meow. Keep moving the cat and meowing until you get to his table, which is next to the flight of stairs. There was a previous tenant there who is gold in color and wore a monocle, who is no longer there. You'll be able to now interact properly with the quest giver.
So if you go to a concert or a play do you not clap? The pilots did something most people can't. They're not clapping at the plane they're applauding the pilots.
They should. But that went out the window before Bill showed up.
