  • You have no proof of the claim that this was by design.

You have no way to prevent future idiots from targeting any random thing.

You think articles are going to be the big thing but social media is not. So they are at the behest of whatever is written about them instead of controlling the narrative and that somehow the appropriate route. Going to think group through soup on the Mona Lisa is probably not going to win you a lot of favors. Two years ago a different group of idiots tried the exact same thing. I don't remember a single positive thing being said about them. And I haven't seen a single positive thing about this group either. I feel like they're hurting their message not helping their message.

I foresee these places putting up a replica of the paintings and not the paintings anymore. Because there's far too much risk.

  • That works but the fastener can't be metal. Come across somebody with magnetic powers or for some reason the metal gets heated up and welds to itself... Bad times. But I think you're onto something.

  • You can think of a single way to get a message out there outside of this act... Really...

Gosh if there was only a method to communicate with people all across the world... Perhaps social platforms or mediums of which to put forth an idea that could just naturally get shared with everybody else... Terrible shame nothing like that exists.

Saying that the painting wasn't damaged is very shortsighted. What if these places determine that the risk just isn't worth it. Sure it's behind bulletproof Glass but not everything is. I really hate it when people assume that the repercussions for their actions are either immediate or they won't exist.

  • You nailed it. I've never heard of this group before, but out of principal I don't support them. You're a better ways to get attention. This is a kin to a child during a temper tantrum, destroying things to get attention.

  • I used to go to the movies in theater on release. I didn't personally know a single person who looked forward to the next MCU installment than I.

Early MCU could be hit or miss sometimes, but eventually it felt like they really had it figured out. I've long since stopped my D+ account and no longer care what's being released. The writing and direction is awful. It's kind of got me thinking of the MCU much like my opinion changed on GoT after those last 2 seasons.

  • That's going to be difficult to answer because people are going to look for different things in the game. I don't particularly care for the survival mechanic. I don't like having to keep up with food. And the food appears to spoil rather quickly. Like some of it has a timer of like 15 minutes. Currently there's a bug though where you can make it last indefinitely. If you have food on you drop it and pick it up and it resets the timer. If you have food in the feed bin, move it from the bin to you then back in a resets the timer. Also appears that perhaps if the pals add food in like eggs it resets the timer as well.

For a pokémon game it's all right. It is leagues better than what the pokémon company has been putting out. Closest I can say is it's kind of similar to Arceus.

The AI needs work yet. But it's early access so that's to be expected.

Combat, I really don't know what to say. You have stats as the player that go up based on your choice each time you level. You can increase your damage by 2 each level... You start at 100 damage... And the weapons that you get are basic, poison and fire. You can also get a melee weapon but... If the player is meant to fight alongside the pal it needs a little work yet. Especially with your range attacks you need to constantly craft ammo.

The whole crafting mechanic... I don't really understand the point. It's the exact same mechanic that's just lobbed into every single game. I will say it works quite well in this mechanically. Like when you're trying to put a wall up or floorboards down they snap together. And you don't need to keep the resources on you you can just have them in a container literally anywhere on your base.

There are proper bad guys, which the pokémon company has long since abandoned.

If this game gets the proper support from the developers, I can definitely see a lot of potential from this. But I think they're definitely going to have to sit down and think about what should be in the game and what should not be in the game.

  • I'd say if you've ever wondered what it be like to just wander about the castle, it's well worth it. It's cheaper than going to say universal studios or the Warner Brothers lot in London...

But there's actually very little gameplay in the castle around areas you recognize from the books or movies. It doesn't take long until you're throwing into a very generic game with a thin coat of Harry Potter paint applied. There's a lot of samey quests and combat doesn't really evolve ever.
