Maybe I'll have to call in and complain. Seems to be the only time the get things working. I originally got the 1Gig plan because it had the highest available upload they had because I used to sometimes stream. I have an SB8200 so there shouldn't be anything preventing higher uploads.

Wonder if a competitor moved into your area. Only reason Comcast ever seems to make improvements is when a competitor with something better rolls into town.

I mean by all means feel free to Google the name and post any link you want. I just grabbed the first thing that popped up.

I can't tell if this idea is genius or lazy. But I can say that video was entertaining.

While a small tangent, I agree. I used to work 4x10 each week. Had done that for over a decade. Having a 3 day weekend really helped. When I got my current position I was moved to 5x8. I'm now endlessly tired, I can't get the weekend projects done, etc. Because you're just getting out of work, or getting ready to start work again, there's no break. So if this ends up being 4x8, that would be great! Keep my hours and get my weekend back. Though I assume corporate USA will find some way to muck it up, like the RTO bullshit.

I was only half-ass invited to the 10 year. Because someone I knew that I graduated with was talking about it and asked if I was going. I wasn't even invited. From what I gather, it was just thrown together by a few people and they invited basically only people they were friends with back in high school.

20 year from what I gather was even more a pathetic attempt appears it might have been people who still live in that town.

I don't honestly feel like I missed out. To me, not even being invited tells me these people still haven't grown up and are still very much thinking in cliques yet. I haven't seen these people in over 2 decades.

Not only are they dropping support for it and unless someone figures out how to hack you just throw it away. But don't worry, they won't automatically cancel your subscription.... that function keeps working.

I don't know how to explain it, but classic Pizza Hut. Going to Pizza Hut with the family was always great sir down experience and there was usual a small arcade. The pizza was way better than the comparatively tasteless junk they serve now.

Also, arcades. I'm not talking about the "arcades" now we're you tap a card so you can spend a few bucks for some shit experience. It'd be really cool if there was like a millionaire out there that was just an nostalgic and open up a classic arcade, with actual quarter machines. Probably wouldn't make money (probably would be a loss) but it would be an experience I think many would welcome back and would be brand new to a whole new generation of people.

Roku seems like a good contender too from the sound of it. Probably all 'smart' TVs

If you don't mind the hours, working on a garbage truck can be really good from what I hear. But oldy very dangerous too. My cousins husband was a garbageman, then he fell off the truck (I forget how) and was seriously hurt permanently. But until then he really loved what he did.

Not sure what is called, but ban and back tax/punish people/companies who use those foreign PO boxes and claim that that company owns the IP everything that they use, so they actually made no profit, all to avoid paying taxes. And then because "made no money" they get cash from the governments.
