  • Honestly I'll disable linting across entire files during these kinds of refactors because it's annoying having build output littered with unused imports and format warnings while I'm still working on a solution. Requires some extra diligence to re-enable and clean up before pushing though.

  • I can't explain the marketing, they call all these things loofahs. Just a normal sponge at the end of mine lol. Mostly just get something on a stick and enjoy the same smug cleanliness.

  • Then I guess we're in agreement, I'd like more options as well and ranked voting should be law of the land to enable that. In the meantime US is stuck with one party actively hostile to life and liberty, and another that struggles to enact progress at every pass. Given that, I really can't stand hearing "but the dems" in an environment where that's all we've got.

  • Sounds like you're blaming the party on one-two D votes for the bills failing, while ignoring the entire arsonist party that enabled those singular votes to break them.

Edit - again, never even a proposal from republicans to correct or build on the ACA, just wholesale destruction, like everything the party does.

  • Democrats have proposed:

    • Freedom of Choice Act
    • Women's Health Protection Act
    • Reproductive Freedom for Women Act
    • Ensuring Access to Abortion Act
    • Freedom to Travel for Health Care Act

    (And likely more I'm forgetting)

All related to codifying Roe / protecting women's choice, and all failing to pass into law due to Republican resistance. Politely fuck off with that nonsense.

  • And not just prior movies, hours and hours of TV series content. The movies (marvels, brave new world specifically) starting to feel more like climatic crossover events of the shows, less like their own stories.

This behavior tracks closely with the comic books medium unfortunately, but I hoped they'd do better to keep the films insulated from "homework".

  • I wonder how much are box office numbers being depressed by people just waiting for the Disney+ release? I can't be the only one that's regularly skipping the theater to watch it on my comfy couch with my cat.

I thought it was the goal, in a way. Pump the subscription numbers at the cost of theater and home release sales?
