Pihole has its issues, ~~but at least you dont need to setup each and every device individually. ~~ edit: I have been informed that this is not the only way.
For balance, the main issue I have with pihole is that family members can't easily bypass it when they need to, which is inconvenient.
I am not a doctor, but if you drink lots of caffeine, it can cause your throat sphincter to loosen and give acid reflux. Maybe put soup in your coffee to even it out /s
Mandatory voting is the answer there, it might be annoying at times, but it seems a lot better than a system that allows voters to opt out, or worse, be disenfranchised out.
That might make sense, except that numbers of migrants is miniscule compared to the existing population in almost every case.
For example, Australia has ~200k permanent migrants per year. With a population of 26m. In order for the migrants to become a majority, it would take 130 years to import 26m people. (This is obviously grossly simplified).
There is basically no real risk that we will drown in migrants.
Edit: seems the banwave was reversed, so when I checked may have no relevance. Still, remains to be seen what the actual end result will be, I suspect it'll happen again
It could be that the process forked and crashed, which is why you got the notification, but that it kept working. It might also be a delayed notification?
I saw something similar happen on my partners Ubuntu with Zoom "crashing" multiple times while working. Didn't dig to the bottom of it, the notifications eventually stopped after some reboots.
If their goal was banning porn and trans sub's, they are either slow rolling it or doing a terrible job. There is plenty of porn unbanned, and r/transgonewild is still up. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.
Even if they had to identify as the opposite gender, if everyone is doing it, and everyone knows the real reason, the embarrassment goes away.
There have been a number of schools that attempted to ban pants for the girls, and the boys will turn up to school in a borrowed skirt as a protest. Its happened multiple times.
It would be really nice if there was a way to easily daisy chain panels. By easy, I mean mount to the roof, plug into the end of the existing set of panels, no electrician required. Then if you got a new appliance you could just add the new panel to the old one and carry on.
But yeah, expecting the general public to add a solar panel every time they get a dishwasher is unrealistic.
If its a laptop, yes. I was only suggesting it in case someone else finds this post later and finds it a suitable solution, I dont think it'll work for the OPs use case.
Ah, okay, thats much more simple then.
