Yup, was a customer from DVD mailing days up to a few price hikes ago. Now I use Real-Debrid with Stremio for a few bucks a month and laugh every time there's another price hike.
Hey, I’m not downvoting you or blaming you anymore than myself. I don’t have the answers on what exactly should be done. But history has shown us time and time again that people are unfortunately probably going to have to die before anything gets better. It’s just the way it works. Monsters don’t just give up their power.
I'm told we really shouldn't wish death on anybody... so I really wish he had gotten a bullet in his brain and been a vegetable hooked up to life support machines for many, many years.
That was indeed awful, but I put up with it (and the app even improved a bit over the last year or whatever). The thing that made me finally leave was posts being shadow deleted for simply saying a man's name and then being threatened with bans for upvoting the "wrong" content. Absolutely not.
Pretty nerdy. I was asking it how to get a good ending in a video game and when the answer annoyed me I told it "That all sounds like too much work. I think I'll just play the game however I want to and then watch the best ending on YouTube." That's when it dropped the "LOL, based. Totally valid!"
The God of the Old Testament is an absolute monster, so I automatically like the guy who opposed him more.
I really like the Gnostic belief that this God is the “demiurge”… a lesser, malevolent, ignorant and false god who created the material world as a flawed imitation of the divine realm. He traps human souls in matter, while the true, transcendent God remains distant and unknowable. Some gnostics see the serpent as the good guy for encouraging Adam and Eve to eat the fruit of knowledge and free humanity from the ignorance of Yaldabaoth, the blind fool god, very much like Morpheus in The Matrix (which adapts all kinds of ideas from Gnosticism).
He's an enemy to the entire system. He's never going to get off. Hopefully he can at least serve as an inspiration for other heroes regarding what needs to be done to keep fighting the system.
Yeah, I grumbled about all of the same nonsense for years and stayed, but upon having posts shadow removed for saying “Luigi” and being told I can’t upvote content that goes against the official corporate narrative… hell no. I don’t want to participate in a community like that. It’s sad to see as somebody who was on Reddit since the early glory days when it was a freedom of speech platform with an overall excellent user base where mods never messed with you, but… all good things end. Reddit being a good thing ended years ago.
After using a Switch for nearly a decade, the docking experience with Deck is pretty awful in comparison. Make sure the firmware is up to date on the dock you have or buy a better one if that doesn’t work and you can certainly get it in a useable state without serious issues… but I sure do wish it was a simple as slotting it in and having everything seamlessly work like it is with Switch.
Ah, the dream of having control over others alive even in a space as pathetic as a video game chat room. You definitely aren’t doing it wrong your way.
