I would think that too, but didn't Mega Man x Street Fighter and Mega Man Maker or what ever start as fan games and then get picked up by Capcom? At the very least, they aren't Nintendo

In Daima, a new threat from Demon World has turned our protagonists into children! They must venture into the Demon Realm to save Earth!

Super is closer to a direct continuation of Z. Lots of fan service, and the power scaling can get a bit out of hand, but I liked it a lot. The first 2 movies (Battle of God's and Resurrection F cover the first 26(?) episodes. You can do either or. I think I would recommend the movies but it is up to you. After the final episode there are two more movies. Broly and Super Heroes. They are not covered in the television series

Finally, the DB Super manga has quite a lot of things towards the end that are not in the series, beginning with the Moro Arc :::
