  • You sure made that easy. Thanks! I don't actually have any opinions on the matter

  • That'll happen when you sing I'll Be Watching You Every Breath You Take

  • Morrowind via OpenMW and the IHeartVanilla mod list (minus the texture pack and lighting fix).

What a fascinating game. If you can get past the fact that every action is a background dice roll, the game is so intriguing. Everybody has paragraphs of things to talk about, and can clue you in to small happenings around the world that aren't necessarily quests

The couple of dungeons I have been in have been pretty large, and are not linear in the way that Skyrim was. I haven't been far, but there has already been plenty of enemy and environment variation. Not the prettiest game I've played, but the world is enthralling

I will say, this game is hard. The fights have been quite challenging so far. I'm having to take completely different approaches to things than I would normally, but I appreciate that

I also play a round of Crazy Taxi here and there for something a little more mindless. Honestly I don't think I've played anything in 2 or 3 days. Haven't been feeling so hot

  • I think I missed that one

  • I didn't ask you for anything. I stated I was going to move away from it. Get off your fucking high horse and you would see that

  • I have had every type of emulator setup imaginable. I personally find RetroArch the most convenient. Sure, if I can setup RetroArch or a RetroPie, I can easily setup stand-alone emulators with a front-end. Been there done that. I chose what I found to be convenient for my needs

If you are only trying to genuinely help, removing the negative statements and trying not to come off as condescending would do wonders

  • I'll have to look into it, thanks for the recommendation. I'm stuck with Android currently. I purchased LaunchBox years ago, so I may see how that is doing

Edit: I don't see an Android port on the site, and they seem to be missing Dreamcast among others. Both are a deal breaker unfortunately

  • This is unfortunate to hear. I had no idea the RetroArch team was like that. Looks like I need to move to stand-alone emulators when I get the chance. Convenience always comes with a price

  • Brother, you haven't confused me. You're all good. I'm a big fan of decomps, unofficial ports, and everything else. I just wanted to know one specific thing about the specific port. I'll look into it later and try to report back with my findings

  • You should do it with a pencil in case you make a mistake

  • With absolutely zero nostalgia I played the fucking shit out of the Xbox 360 Arcade release. Fantastic game that still holds up. If you aren't much for repetition it probably won't be your thing. Bullet Hell and Beat 'em Up fans should find some enjoyment

  • I'd like to forget the Alamo

me: hey, racistpieceofshit, why do you hate Mexicans?

racistpieceofshit: they killed Davey Crockett at the Alamo!

I wish I was making this shit up

  • You are so fucked you don't even get it

  • We're in a thread specifically about the Dreamcast port. The controller has one stick. My question is, how do they get around only having one stick on the Dreamcast controller on the Dreamcast port

  • From my understanding, it was originally going to release on Dreamcast but they switched to PS2. I guess this/these guy/s wanted to see if they could bring the original vision to fruition

  • So it can't be played on original hardware with an original controller?

  • It has concepts of being fake
