The weather-related disruptions have caused suspension of the cleaning and emptying of thousands of portable toilets.

This sounds nightmarish. People will start avoiding the portable toilets and it will be even worse.

With this game it always seem to be more profitable to keep it in development forever rather than releasing it.

I would give Albon a second chance. His performance on a Williams has been impressive so far.

It is a pity but I don't think RB will renew Pérez for the next season.

Even if he is second on the Drivers Championship this has been an horrible year for him.

I have lived in three different countries and solicitors are extremely rare. And in the few cases one ringed my door it was for charity or school kids collecting donations for some summer trip (not sure if this is called soliciting or not).

The same thing happen in other dictatorships all over South America. Only a few have relatively happy endings like this. Most will never be resolved and thousands of mothers will never meet their children.

I cannot help you with BG3 as I have not bought it yet.

Having said that, and knowing other games from the same developer, I guess BG3 is probably friendly enough to new players to CRPG. Just be warned that it is probably also overwhelming (I played the last two games and they took me more than 100 hours each).

Look for the movie Zeitgeist (free on YouTube) to understand how banks are able to lend money even if they don't have it.

In a nutshell, they are able to lend multiple times the money they hold from depositing clients.

So for example. If a bank has $100m (clients deposits) they may be allowed, by law, to lend 10 times that amount... Even if they don't have the money anywhere, the central bank in their country will facilitate that money to the bank. There is much more to this mechanic but this is the core of how the banks work all around the world.

Late? As a patient gamer I would say you got in early. :)

I played most of the mainstream CRPG, including multiple Larian Studios titles and I have no doubt that I will play BG3 as well... But probably in a year or two after the game gets some polish and, hopefully, a discount.

I am no complaining. I have played the game for many hours, and also many of the million clones that came afterwards.

The developer worked designing slots for the gambling industry before.

Part his game mechanics are really addictive as they are similar to how people gets addicted to gambling (lootboxes, coins, spins, colorful lights, win animations, sounds similar to slots machines).

The most fitting game for this post. I could play it for another 3000 hours and still be bad at it.

Now that Sync users can post we will get more content.
