Modern Russia makes abysmal movies and media is very crass. Calling LGBT people straight out creatures, soloviev live is a total shit show devoid of any reality often calling to bomb UK, Georgia or Kazakhstan. It's all a symptom of a proto fascist society. It's similar to sold out media of India who constantly make bombastic claims and bash China, Pakistan and Muslims of India for no reason whatsoever.

We don't manufacture much and even if we do some its not a big scale production, we are buying newer weapons like S400 and we love BrahMos type missiles which was a joint venture between India and Russia (although it will be mostly Russia's contribution) .

Russian military industrial complex is highly centralized and nationalized. We buy weapons from Russia regularly. Though Russian aircrafts need some work.

I think DNR forces begged Putin to help them during Mariupol seize in 2014. Putin didn't do anything and went for Minsk Agreement. I think Putin didn't want any escalation after the Crimea take over because the Western media depicted it as an act of war. I understand there is little he could have done in 2014 but Donbass people suffered the most in this 9 years of war and still suffering.
