  • One of the most satisfying things for me is driving my wife's little Mirage in the snow. With normal all season tires it does great, with proper snow tires it's completely unstoppable - that is, until you need to stop.

It turns out that accelrating and stopping a 2,000 pound car on ice and snow is easier than it is with a 4,000 pound vehicle.

  • Yes, but being able to remove the douchebag tune from your truck long enough to pass emissions requires mechanical ability, not parking acumen, so your response just looks silly.

And that's what is done in states that have yearly emissions tests. There's probably a setting for it in the tuner.

  • I couldn't imagine the stress of knowing what I know now and being sent back to when I was six years old. I'd be trapped with my parents.

I'd take the money. My wife is amazing, and we are very happy together, but a lot of things had to fall just right for us to end up together.

  • My wife and I tried to plant a vegetable garden last year, it was our second try after learning some things the previous year. We got a lot of veggies out of it and had a lot of fun. We weren't so interested in saving money, we were more worried about bare shelves at the grocery store. We also have a few chickens.

We are going to make it even better this year.

My new year's resolution this year is to figure out how to build a generator capable of putting out at least 200w. The trick is, I want something that doesn't require a manufactured fuel to run. Solar or wind are obvious options, but I have also considered a steam engine or wood gas engine.

  • This is going to put a lot of doctors and medical people in a dangerous spot.

Good luck hiding behind laws when you have a distraught husband who has just watched his wife, and the child he hoped to soon meet, die slowly and horribly.

But it's also illegal for our hypothetical heartbroken and angry husband to beat a doctor to death, or just shoot them because texas, right? That makes it all better I'm sure.
