  • In this case I'd say it's a difference between animals raised as a product vs animals as pets. Personally, I don't take issue with animal products as long as the animal is treated with care during life and dignity during death, but I definitely understand why some people are against animal products. Harassing them to the point of suicide is not an acceptable reaction. I'd also put some money down that the industries she targeted had at least some involvement in harassing her.

  • There are 2 types of libertarians.

One group is comprised of people who think the government should basically keep the military going, and handle foreign relations when that doesn't impede private citizens.

The other group is just Republicans who don't like being called Republicans.

  • God gave us dominion over all creatures read the Bible!

There are children dying in the streets here, why don't you do anything about them?

The foxes bread for fur here are not capable of living in the wild, "rescuing" and releasing them is the real animal abuse.

I think fox fur is fancy, fuck you lady!

Just some examples I can think of off the top of my head. People can get pretty polarized when it comes to killing, or not killing animals.

  • Rolling dice, flipping a coin, shooting a single photon through a split aperture.

Cute quote, but it's dead wrong.

Also, I fully expect trump not to be impeached (this time at least) the goal isn't to remove him here, the goal is to get these assholes to sign their names to his bad behavior, and to slow down congress, preventing republicans from getting legislation to the floor.

  • ...knee high thistles...

That all you got? Mine literally block the sun.

I've got Palm Warblers and Goldfinches up in that shit, and the flowers are absolutely covered in bees right now.

Also my yard sparkles at night. I'll probably take the thistle down when it looks like its going to seed, since it's not native, but while it's providing useful habitat and not spreading, I'm going to let it be.

  • Play with hot wheels and Transformers. Maybe take the afternoon and fold an entire ream of paper into airplanes, one design only, looking for small improvements on every crease, corner and pleat to create the perfect expression of that design.

  • The vast majority of people know for a fact that their vote mathematically does not matter

If a full third of people stayed home, that’s a systemic problem, not an individual responsibility problem.

You understand that in a two party system, these two statements are basically incompatible?

Especially when you consider that we have early voting starting a month before the election, along with mail-in voting being available in nearly every state. If you didn't vote, it's because you didn't want to vote, not because you couldn't vote. Yes, some degree of civic participation is expected, welcome to being an adult.

Someone commented just a few days ago that voting blue in OK was pointless. I brought up some stats that if every one of the non-voters in OK had voted in the last election, Kamala could have carried the state with 200k people to spare.

  • Well, they need to start by registering for the green party.

You can't show up on November 6th and say "everybody should have voted for Jill Stein!" After she barely gets more votes than the worm riddled antivax conspiracy theorist that dropped out of the race and backed trump.
