This is what I’m very confused about. I read before that deflation is a sign of a slowdown/recession in the economy but like also having your current worth more/prices going down sounds objectively good to me? Is there any good Devil’s advocate position that can put forth any negatives for deflation because China certainly doesn’t seem like a slowing economy to me.
I’m obviously not suggesting that they’re gonna collapse or anything stupid like that, but are they in a deflation or not because the media is talking about it a lot. At this point I don’t even know if they’re taking facts and twisting them to suit their narrative or if they’re just making it the fuck up

Considering that 40% of the prisoners on average were released in a given year, and that mortality rates were much higher in prisons under the Tsar(admittedly part of that is due to the technology that was available) they should keep their mouths shut.

Later he released a statement about Maui and his team mentioned that he only said “no comment” because he wanted to release a full statement later. Imagine if Xi said “no comment” about the floods, what the liberal press would say about him, how callous and insensitive he is to the victims. Instead his administration acted on it fast and effectively. I’d say Biden is a joke, but jokes are funny. This is just sad
I recently tried looking up what the MSM says about the homeless population in China and how they try to help their situations, basically every site I checked was like “yea sorry to say but they’re doing well. We disagree with what they’re doing, but yea😔their centers for feeding and clothing the homeless and trying to work with them to get them housing and occupation/education opportunities are successful, sigh😞” it’s crazy to read. Like the Economist was the only one being like “uh China bad, they HAVE homeless people in their country.”
I know someone through a friend (I don’t know them myself) that did a lot of meth and became a huge Christian all of a sudden, and they didn’t stop doing meth either so you never know, I would hope not but Christianity isn’t exclusively about sobriety for some people
