  • Not so fun fact: Native Americans make up less than 3% of the US population. And that counts people with Native American heritage (like white people who are 1/8 Cherokee and tout that as them being โ€œPOCโ€). That ainโ€™t a Shared History, thatโ€™s oppression and domination followed by decades of humiliation and discrimination.

  • 5 stages of supporting a Nazi: Denial (say he wasnโ€™t a Nazi at all), Anger (Yell at the Ruzzian Orkkk accounts), Bargaining (Try to strategically toss a few people under the bus to blame instead of yourself for defending the Nazi), Depression (Realizing that he totally IS a Nazi and that you will lose a few followers and get ratioโ€™ed if you try to keep defending him), Acceptance (Issue an apology WAAAAAYYY too late and not aggressively enough after everyone already knows that you defend Nazis)

  • Wow. Iโ€™m in awe. So now we canโ€™t even call Nazis Racist๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Fr tho, like can anyone explain to me why since last month people are sprouting up saying the SS werenโ€™t Nazis? Iโ€™m not saying theyโ€™re right, but what grounds do they have to make this claim? It seems like if any group were explicitly Nazis it was certainly the SS right???

  • Pretty good flag, I have no personal preference, theyโ€™re both very cool

  • Caitlin Johnstone comes through with yet another dub (I have stopped counting how many at this point๐Ÿ”ฅ)

  • Well, to be fair, we ALL know how sensitive the Nazis were when it comes to talking about upsetting topics in the workplace, and that includes unwanted political conversations. /s

  • I was hoping sheโ€™d kick the bucket the same night that the Democrats make the decision to kick her out. It would be so much funnier having the Dems feel bad about their decision and being like โ€œdid the shock of being kicked out kill her?โ€

  • Politics aside, I always loved seeing Pandas at the zoo as a little boy, sad that I wonโ€™t be able to see that again๐Ÿ˜”

  • We all need it every now and then, all the best to you

  • The origins of lawns piss me off to no end. Originally it was a flex to have a lawn โ€œHey look at me! I have so much money and resources that I donโ€™t even need to farm on my own land! Hell yea!โ€ And over time, these rich assholes realized โ€œwait a sec, none of the poor people know how rich I am! Just my servants and people who happen to be walking past!โ€ So they hired artists to show their wonderful estates and lack of gardens. Over time people started to identify those green fields of grass with class status. People slowly became less reliant on farms because of the rise of trade and agricultural production. They still had houses and land tho, so they copied the lawns from the paintings and it became more and more common. Obviously there are a few details here and there that I probably missed but thatโ€™s the gist of why people are so obsessed with lawns

  • Great comment, explains a lot, Iโ€™ll look more into it

  • Even still, kinda odd that China would follow the sanctions on a neighboring country that is friendly to them. Glad to hear that things are changing
