  • This is why the new tv series will be hated by all. They had a chance to remake and sanitize the series away from the grimy hands of JK and instead they doubled down. So if anything this remake might be even more offensive.

The wild thing is that growing up I had all the conservatives and bible people trying to stop us kids from reading the demonic Harry Potter novels. Now that they realize the author is one of them, they suddenly love the books about witchcraft!

  • Sometimes I feel like the people who say ai is always bad for everything, no matter what, kinda remind me of horse buggy salesmen putting down automobiles at the turn of the century. There are many instances in which ai would actually be a benefit, and many jobs are pretty much obsolete and ai is gonna give them that last push to die. Those jobs were always gonna go. You can’t stop the future.

Artists and other jobs people worry ai will steal are safe, so long as you’re good enough to be better than shitty ai artists, you shouldn’t worry. If ai is funnier and better than you, that’s kinda on you.

Most companies are realizing ai can’t match a human employee for quality. If ai can obsolete you, you were likely on your way out

  • Anyone who says his Batman movies are perfect, need to go back and watch the fight choreography on screen and accept that the Batman voice is absurd. I mean tdk is a great movie, but it’s a comic book movie that’s ashamed of the source material and tries to make it “real” to compensate

  • How dare you use subtitles? Nolan intended for the dialogue to be so badly recorded and mixed that you can’t understand a damn thing. Those godawful fight scenes and terrible choreography? It was meant to be there! Those shitty mistakes and errors left on the screen add flavour!

  • Man I remember when dvds were a new thing. The sixth sense was the first dvd I ever bought. dvds used to have interactive menus, Easter eggs, multiple behind the scenes documentaries and videos, photos and info on the production. Now you buy a blu ray and it goes straight to the movie, no menu, no features, no bts footage, just the movie and nothing else.
