If you know they are there then manage the network and environment to limit the risk.
What's being discussed here are undocumented network connections that were wired to the primary controls through a secondary data bus so that standard monitoring tools wouldn't see the traffic.
Even if it isn't malicious it's terrible, no-good, shitty design work.
requiring the reporting of child abuse confessions to authorities
The actual law isn't about confessions nor is it solely about CSAM. What Washington State has done is amend their mandatory report law by removing the exemption for Clergy.
"...has reasonable cause to believe that a child has suffered abuse or neglect, he or she shall report such incident, or cause a report to be made, to the proper law enforcement agency or to the department as provided in RCW 26.44.040."
So yes, if a Priest (Catholic or not) hears a confession about CSAM they will be required to report. However if they hear about child *neglect *in a confession they have to report that as well.
Likely more meaningfully they ALSO now have to report those same things even if it isn't during a Confession. For example if they witness a parent smacking their kid around in the parking lot.
It's a necessary and correct change but it reaches a lot further than just the confessional.
I haven’t read the law, but it would be interesting if it explicitly allowed a “mandatory reporter” to satisfy the requirement by facilitating the transgressor to turn themselves in.
You will need to document those Owner / Capital Contributions very clearly so if an audit happens you can prove how that money got into the LLCs account.
Speaking of that account; your Contribution may not be considered Revenue but any interest earned from it sitting in a bank account almost certainly will be and unless you record offsetting expenses then you suddenly have profit...which is subject to taxation.
If that isn't enough then there's State, County, and sometimes even local regulations to consider. For instance you lived in Denver, Colorado you may be on the hook for "Occupational Privilege Tax" which is $4 per month per employee. Is the owner of a single member LLC considered an "employee"? I dunno but you should know that this stuff exists and find out before it bites your ass off.
For the most part LLCs are cheap and easy, right up until somebody from the Government decides to poke their nose in, which is how so many people get in trouble with them.
So Good Luck with this and let me know when your instance goes live. :)
Old meme is old. I'm in Central Wyoming with reasonably priced 2Gb/s FTTH and I could order 10Gb/s if I wanted it.
