  • I've noticed that some of the pieces that make up RES are already out there, they're just not part of one extension. I do expect that will happen at some point in the near future.

  • You are a legend for this.

  • Thanks for posting the userscript. I'm seeing lots of RES type features like this and hoping they'll be rolled into one at some point.

  • Dig up, reddit, Dig up!

  • That's why so many people tell you to edit your comments prior to deletion, I guess.

  • The way listings work on reddit is very confusing to most users. I used to think that listings refilled once you removed things from them, but they don't. If you have more than 1000 posts, comments, or whatever, you won't ever see the 1001st thing.

  • Ah interesting. I am using Firefox.

  • As more people join these kinds of things will change and evolve. Hopefully the site infrastructure will adapt to it as well.

  • I read an article a few months ago from someone on twitter that was able to gain access to the newest one, the right stuff I think it was. The reports of the profile pics of guys in front of confederate flags with dozens of guns displayed around and the other things she saw there were hilarious. It was exactly as you say, no real women, just a bunch of guys that most women would never give a second look.

  • On r/politicalhumor and r/madlads, the answer is yes. But you need subreddit karma to log mod actions. There is a bot running in those subs which facilitates it.

  • why crosspost?

I’m new to Lemmy and trying to learn how everything works. Also yeah I made everyone on r/madlads and r/politicalhumor a mod via the Mod Democracy Bot.

  • Most people don't like right wing anything. Not really a surprise.

  • I would watch that.

  • When did they start selling these? Seems like a bargain.

  • Sorry for the double crossposts. When you pull up a community to post to it can be confusing.

  • I don't really know because I haven't spent much time with it. I do remember either in one of the mod summits or somewhere that Spez admitted that new reddit was bad and that they were already working on the next version of reddit, which is what sh.reddit is supposed to be. New reddit is an abomination and I've only ever used it for settings old reddit does not have.

But to be honest with you, I haven't really spent any time on sh.reddit because you used to not be able to log in to it.

  • I completely agree. I hope Lemmy will steadily add features.
